Had a wonderful Prinsjesdag, traditionally the day the new Parliamentary Season opens and the new budget is presented by the King. This year a bit off, since there still is no new government, a result of needing a coalition,with many small parties, “winning” the election in March. As a result only a provisional budget by the demissionay government could be presented! But for us, a feast! We followed it all from the famous Indonesian Restaurant Garoeda, right in the heart of it all!
View from my window; first snow in Amsterdam! Hopefully by tomorrow it will have cleared up enough to do our walking tour, but a lovely sight from the inside!
