Tipping etc.

Tour guides work only seasonally, and are paid by the job (even then not receiving very high salaries). In the winter they are mostly unemployed as other jobs are hard to come by, and it is hard to make a living off what was earned during the tour season; so next time you take a tour, and you think your tour guide was great – please tip her/him; it will be greatly appreciated!
